Script Request - Paeds in a pod

We understand that even with the best laid plans, it’s easy to be caught out with an expired or lost script. If you need a new script for your child, you can request one online by completing the form below.

You will only be eligible for an online prescription if you have had a consultation or review appointment within the last 6 months
Note: Schedule 8 scripts (e.g. Ritalin, Vyvanse, Concerta) expire after 6 months
Script requests outside appointments will incur a small fee to enable the doctor to set aside time to review patient clinical records
The script fee of $75 which needs to be paid
One of our Reception team will contact you if any additional information is required, or if the paediatrician is unable to do a script via this process

Once the Script Request is received it will be checked by our admin team and if in order an internal request will be put through to the prescribing Paediatrician for review of the request and the patient chart
The doctor will then either

Do an e-script which is then sent directly to the parents/guardians mobile number

If the doctor cannot do an e-script, a member of the admin team will call the parent/guardian for additional pharmacy details

The manual Script is then email/faxed to the pharmacy as well as posted to meet government prescribing requirements

Advise the admin team that a consultation is required to enable a script to be prescribed, a member of the admin team will call the parent/guardian to arrange a consultation.
