Dr Su Lynn Yoong

Dr Su Lynn Yoong is a caring and experienced general paediatrician based in Woolloongabba in Brisbane. She provides comprehensive medical care for babies, children, and adolescents, supporting families with all aspects of their child’s physical, developmental, and emotional wellbeing.

Dr Su Lynn Yoong is a dedicated general paediatrician who specialises in children’s healthcare. She is experienced in both physical and developmental health issues, providing expert diagnostic and management support for a wide range of paediatric conditions.

Dr Yoong works closely with families to help children thrive at every stage of growth, from newborns through to adolescence. She has a particular interest in:

• Neonates and infant health

• Developmental and behavioural paediatrics

• Growth and feeding concerns

• Chronic and complex medical conditions

Her approach combines compassionate care with a deep understanding of early childhood development, allowing her to provide holistic, family-centred care.

Dr Yoong completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Medical Studies and a Doctor of Medicine (BMed MD). In 2024, she achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics and Child Health — reflecting her strong commitment to advancing her expertise in children’s medicine.

During her paediatric training, Dr Yoong worked in both metropolitan and regional Queensland hospitals, including Townsville Hospital, Logan Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, Hervey Bay Hospital, and Toowoomba Hospital. She also undertook specialised neonatology training at Townsville Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Yoong’s passion for paediatrics stems from her joy in interacting with children — their energy, curiosity, and positivity continually inspire her. She finds great fulfilment in helping children grow and supporting families through every stage of their child’s health journey.
