Dr Ben Beckwith is an experienced paediatrician in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, providing care for children from birth through to the teenage years. He has a particular interest in child safety, neonatal care, and perinatal medicine, supporting mothers, babies, and families during pregnancy, delivery, and the early years of life, especially in high-risk situations.

With more than 10 years of experience, Ben has worked extensively with children and families across a wide range of needs. He is also highly experienced in supporting children with behavioural and developmental concerns, helping families access the care and guidance they need.

After completing a Bachelor of Science, Ben earned his medical degree through the University of Queensland, graduating in 2002. He began his medical career in adult medicine before pursuing paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, later completing his training at Launceston General Hospital. His commitment to lifelong learning includes ongoing participation in local, interstate, and international conferences.

Ben values the opportunity to work closely with children and their families, and he admires the resilience children show when navigating health challenges. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys life in Brisbane, spending time with his young family, and travelling around Australia’s outdoors.
