Caitlin Hill is a paediatric speech pathologist who specialises in assessment-only services at Paeds in a Pod. Her role focuses on assessing children’s language and pragmatic communication skills to identify their strengths, challenges, and overall developmental profile. By providing clear, detailed assessments, Caitlin helps families and clinicians better understand a child’s needs and supports the process of guiding accurate diagnoses and planning ongoing therapy.

Caitlin has a strong interest in diagnostic assessment, particularly in supporting neurodivergent children. She is passionate about working with families to help them find answers, gain clarity, and access the right supports. She values the opportunity to contribute to the first stage of a child’s developmental journey, ensuring families feel informed and empowered as they take the next steps.

She completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at The University of Queensland in 2021 and has worked across a range of paediatric settings in both private practice and Queensland Health. Caitlin also has experience as a rural speech pathologist, supporting both adults and children, and brings five years of diverse clinical experience to her role.

Caitlin has always been drawn to healthcare and knew from her first university open day that speech pathology was the perfect fit. She finds great meaning in helping young people communicate, connect, and thrive – and feels privileged to support families during such an important stage of their child’s development.

What Caitlin enjoys most about her work is collaborating closely with families to help them better understand their child’s needs. She believes that thorough assessment, paired with clear education and support, lays the foundation for positive long-term outcomes.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys running, reading, and baking.
