“While reports of behaviours and formal assessments including psychometric assessments by allied health professionals and other specialists can be very helpful as an aid in the assessment of your child, the doctors are individual practitioners and will determine their diagnosis and management plan based upon their clinical impression (with due consideration given to all of the information available). Your doctor’s opinion may or may not concur with a diagnosis provided by another professional or that required for NDIS funding purpose”.
