Cancellation Policy

Note: Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment or for no-shows, and may contribute towards the full consultation fee charge where applicable.

We understand that unplanned issues can arise and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Should this occur, we respectfully ask that parents/carers contact Paeds in a Pod on (07) 3177 2000 during business hours or cancellation@paedsinapod.com.au outside of business hours. The cancellation notice period is based on clear business days when notification is received, therefore excludes weekends.

All cancellations and sicknesses are required to notify Paeds in a Pod 48 hours prior to their appointment to avoid being charged. In the instance that the outlined conditions are not met, the patient/parent/gardian will be liable for the full consultation fee. No-shows will automatically be charged the full consultation fee.

If an unexpected contagious illness arises, please do not attend your appointment in person. We will provide alternative therapy options where appropriate/suitable to ensure the safety of all staff, practitioners and patients.

All doctors and allied health professionals want to be available for your needs and for the needs of all our patients. When a patient/parent/gardian does not show for a scheduled appointment, other patients lose the opportunity to be seen. We appreciated your understanding
